to a space, cold and empty
feeling the glass tears cut my face again

i curl up

a naked ball of intolerable pain
your warmth is an ocean away
(it has been for far too long)

suicide continues to loom over me
as reality strikes blow after blow
to my already beaten body
wondering how much more cruel torture i can bear
before i'm consumed

the heartless world just laughs and taunts
as i try to reach my hands across the void
and the closest i can get
is to lay your picture
upon my breast
